The Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolour Paint Fire Set 3 x 5ml includes three vibrant, bold and radiant colours from the naturals range. The fire set includes three unique plant-derived colours – Kamala, Curcuma and Dragon¡¯s Blood. Kamala is a transparent golden orange with a vibrant yellow undertone, made with a pigment derived from the Monkey Face Tree. Curcuma offers a warm yellow hue that takes its colour from the Turmeric plant. Dragon¡¯s Blood is a rich, woody red with an earthy tone that darkens as it dries and produces striking granulation on textured paper.
Schmincke Horadam Naturals Watercolours are a 100% vegan range that combines the qualities of watercolour and gouache. Made with natural earth pigments and plant-based extracts, these semi-transparent colours dry to a matte finish and offer unique hues inspired by historic recipes. Their slightly coarser texture and delicate fragrance make them different to traditional paints. While they work beautifully on their own, they also mix well with other watercolours and gouache. Note that due to the natural pigments, there may be slight colour variations between batches. All colours in the range boast a lightfastness rating of 3 to 5 stars.
